University of Kentucky The University of Kentucky is pleased to encourage academic excellence and will provide guaranteed scholarships to students completing the Rogers Scholars program, provided they meet the academic standards required. The following scholarships will be awarded to eligible students, provided the student is admitted and has a qualifying test score and GPA on file with the Office of Undergraduate Admission by December 1st.
Applying to Pitt Scholarships Scholarships are awards provided by the University or outside organizations that do not need to be repaid. They are typically based on outstanding academic achievement, leadership qualities, and scholarly contributions to the University community.
With the exception of a few prestigious awards, incoming freshman students who apply to Pitt by December 15 are automatically considered for University of Pittsburgh academic scholarships.

Transfer students and continuing students who were not awarded a scholarship as an incoming freshman are not eligible for University academic scholarships. Application Procedure All freshman applicants who submit a completed application for admission and supporting credentials by December 15th of their senior year are automatically reviewed for University academic scholarships and receive priority consideration.
Students submitting completed applications after December 15 are still reviewed, but awards are made based on availability of funding.
It is important to note, the Scholarship Committee begins reviewing candidates and awarding scholarships in early October. The Committee makes decisions weekly on a rolling basis.
Therefore, if you would like to increase your chances for scholarships, it is in your best interest to apply early. There is not a separate scholarship application for University of Pittsburgh academic scholarships, though if you wish to be considered for scholarships you will be required to complete the Short Answer Questions.

Notification of Award Admitted freshman selected to receive an academic scholarship are notified by March 1. Outside Scholarships In addition to University of Pittsburgh academic scholarships, you may be eligible for non-University of Pittsburgh scholarships.

Applicants not receiving the Vogt Scholarship will be eligible for additional $1,, awards, which can be stacked on Admission-Based Scholarships.
Unfortunately, no, you will not be able to combine an academic scholarship offer from the Academic Scholarship Office (e.g. Chancellor's Scholarship, Silas Hunt Scholarship, Chancellor's Community, etc.) with a fellowship.
The fellowship will cancel out the original academic scholarship offer from the university. Kentucky Christian University, located in Grayson, KY, is offering a $6, scholarship to all graduates of the Rogers Scholars Program, provided they have a GPA of or better in high school and have earned an 18 or above on the ACT.
Finally, the Admissions Committee places great weight on the strength of the application essays. The Honors College Application is part of the UK Admissions Application, and also part of the Common Application - you can use either to apply to the Honors Program.
